With 20 years of history in the speciality outdoor industry, Rich has experienced almost every aspect of the business, from river guide to front office executive, Patagonia to Prana.

Two years ago Rich left the executive office to form his own startup, Ticla. His Ventura, Ca based company is focused on bringing fresh ideas to the campground and is on a mission to get more people under the stars. Rich’s story is about striving to reinvent the campground in a market that is deeply entrenched in its traditions.
