Speaker.
Ken Yeang
Author of ‘Eco Skyscrapers’
Profile:
Ken studied architecture and ecological design. He is one of the world's leading architects in ecological and passive low energy design
He is best known as the inventor of the Bioclimatic skyscraper (as a genre of low-energy skyscrapers based on bioclimatic design principles), and for his novel ideas on designing the high-rise building type as vertical urban design.
What I'm talking about:
Green Design
Ecodesign is the seamless and benign biointegration of everything that we make and do as human beings with the natural environment. This is of course easier said than done – accomplishing this is the biggest challenge confronting us as architects, designers and engineers to day.
The key principles of green design and planning will be illustrated by examples from my designs and projects.

Cool. We just had Mr. Ken Yeang, in our college last month and he had a great talk there as well.
Ken, this sounds great! We are looking at green options for a garden office next year, so your advice and tips would be very welcome. Look forward to meeting you! Jon :-)
